Not everything is that simple
Today’s edition of Parade Magazine (it comes with the Sunday Pueblo Chieftain) has a headline on the cover that says, “Why Plane Crashes Happen.”
I glanced at the article but didn’t read it. At first glance, it appears to be a one pager about how flying is safe. The focus is on a crash investigator who wants to pass that message on to us. But I already knew that, so unless I really, really have nothing to do, I’ll pass on that kind of an article everytime.
But back to the headline: Why Plane Crashes Happen
Do we really believe so complex an issue can be covered in one page? In our fast food, microwave, 140 character world we probably do.
Why didn’t I read the article? Because I already know the answer. And its short enough to Twitter with room for a link left over.
Plane crashes are the result of bad landings.
