Good advice David,

James and I decided to share this, because it was so unexpected and we hope it might help.

I really don’t fit any of the precursors for gestational diabetes. I did, however, eat like an animal for the first few months of my pregnancy. I ate way too much and justified it as a craving. I also allowed stress to really affect me.

I truly believe those two things helped put me in this spot. If you are pregnant, it doesn’t mean you can’t eat what you want. If I could do it again, I would have stopped eating when I was full. I would have also paid closer attention to how much sugar and carbs I was eating. It’s something that I will continue after the baby’s born, because it’s just a healthier way to live.

I still eat fast food when I’m in a pinch. You can look up the nutrition facts for what you are eating and some of it will blow you away. MY doctor said 60 mg of carbs for my 3 meals. There is food on there that goes way above. It is pretty educational, even if you aren’t pregnant.

First, prayers for Nichole and for you,
My wife had it with our 2nd 22 years ago before they knew ar much as today. Italian background with family history of Diabetes.
Low carbs is the main concern. Pasta, grains, sweets of course. Try to stay under 90 mg per day.
Greek and for Middle Eastern background as I am are also risk factors.

Try the Green Diet. Lots of vegetables, the Green leafy are best. Careful on fruits. High in sugar.

I don’t care who it is-if u get a DUi off the clock you shouldn’t be fired—period end of story

Hi James, Just wanted to say that I’m a little disappointed in NF5.
I sent in a submission for a story/investigation that I thought people might like to know about, and I got an email back stating:
“Our investigations generally center on government corruption or waste.”
So your NF5 team will only do government corruption investigations? I thought that was kind of odd, but if it’s true, let me know. I would think you would be open to any kind of investigation.
